The bible is the best selling book of all time. The Bible has more copies sold, and the most translations in different languages ever, leaving every other book the world in the proverbial dust. But if its your first time, or 27th time opening your bible, maybe it still overwhelms you? I often felt this way the few times I would take my bible off the shelf. I'd blow the dust off my Bible and open it up and just go blank. Now what? Where do i start? Is this the right translation? Does the right translation matter? How do I find answers to my questions?
How do I truly know this is God's word?
There are so many questions we all have, and that's okay. So I wanted to take this time to try and help anyone who also has these same questions. I also want to introduce you to a bible you might not have tried before that contains these answers. Because the right translation does matter, but its different for everyone. A lot of people swear by the King James translation and that's great; nothing wrong with it at all. But it may not be the best for you if its hard for you to understand the language used that it was written in. The bible I want to share with you today is called "The Evidence Bible: All you need to Understand and Defend Your Faith. It's written in the New King James Version and contains commentary by a man named Ray Comfort.
So what makes this bible different. What separates this bible from all of the rest of them out there? Take a look at these pages and you will see.
This bible has 9 pages full of the most common questions, objections, and comments that people make about the bible, God, and where to find the answers. Popular questions and comments that unbelievers, atheists, and skeptics alike have all asked at one time or another. We have all had these questions. Now you can find an answer. Here is a few examples:
Who made God?
Was Noah's ark real? How did he fit all those animals on the boat?
There's much worse people than me out there!
Why does God want to keep people from having knowledge?
Why does God want to torture people in Hell?
Why does God allow evil?
Why is there suffering?
There are so many more questions, objections, and comments. Comments on God, Jesus Christ, the Bible, evangelism, evolution and creation, religions, and even scriptures on teaching your childeren. Questions about God, Jesus Christ, sin, heaven and hell, excuses, faith, salvation, hypocrisy, witnessing and so much more.
I say that to say this. With this bible, you can open open it up, find a question or thought and go read about it with purpose; as opposed to opening your Bible and saying now what? I strongly encourage anyone who wants to know more, who is curious, who doesn't know how to read the bible, to give this one a chance. It has been very helpful in my own personal learning. I use this bible along with a NLT and NIV versions. The NLT bible reads the easiest to me. The NIV is the version the church I attend uses. I use all 3 to cross reference and make clear what I am reading.

To wrap this up I wanted to mention a few other aids that might help you in reading your bible. There are countless bible reading plans you can download. They will challenge you to read certain scriptures each day, with you completing the entire bible in a year! If you just want a good place to start, I recommend starting at the book of Matthew and reading through the gospels. Also you can search "Emergency Bible Numbers" on Google and get picture like the one down below this text to download and print and keep in your bible or on your phone for you when you need the comfort of God's word fast!
